Every single time I visit Colorado I’m amazed by how beautiful it is. I recently went to Keystone, Colorado with some friends. It wasn’t a super long trip so we spent almost all of our time there snowboarding! Most of the group had been snowboarding a few times except my boyfriend, Ryan. Day one was seriously a struggle (especially for Ryan… -_- sorry)…so many bruises from falling, trying to retrace our memory on how to snowboard. Falling hurt because well, falling hurts but also because it was so cold! It was pretty freezing, as you’d expect comparing from winter in Austin, Texas. Everyones fingers and toes were throbbing the entire time. You kinda forgot about it though, when you’re admiring the scenery and just gliding down the mountain.

I find myself daydreaming of the beautiful views of the mountains and massive trees in Keystone and Colorado in general. I’ve visited a few different cities in Colorado growing up. This trip we stayed at a hotel in Silverthorne, but drove about 10 mins to Keystone mountain. It’s pretty cool because Keystone is really close to Breckenridge and even Copper Mountain! If we had more time we probably would’ve visited all three mountains.

Thinking about Colorado I know that it’s also very beautiful in the summers as well. I haven’t visited in the summer in years, and would love to go back sometime soon. I really enjoy hiking and exploring so that’s definitely something i’ll have to plan to do in Colorado soon!
