Ireland was a dream! I’m so thankful I got to spend my 22nd birthday in Ireland with my family. As you’d expect we spent most of our time there hiking the breathtaking mountains and greenery. We traveled all across Irealand from Dublin to Killarney and more! I can’t wait to go back. I learned so much about the culture and history. We also got a row boat and paddled out to an island with a deserted monastery! We explored the island and found some pretty awesome views! I am a terrible rower. I seriously thought I broke my thumb. I’ve never been good at rowing a boat though. I got to ride a horse through Killarney and it was stunning. I have to say, I am not a natural at horse riding. Riding a horse on an English saddle is probably the most uncomfortable thing i’ve ever experienced. While on the other hand my little sister Faith was a PROFESSIONAL. Not kidding. The guy who owned the horse was like “I’ve never seen anyone that young especially a young girl ride a horse so well..” While i’m in the back falling off my horse while it’s running. It was a fun experience though! We also saw the Cliffs of Moher. To put it in to perspective how huge it is, it took us an hour to walk half of it and an hour to walk back to the half way point! It was so worth it. I wanted to stay there all day… I mean we did, but I wanted to stay there forever. Locals drove there and just laid out on the soft grass enjoying the views. It is almost a thousand feet tall and 30+ people die a year at the Cliffs by falling off the edge! There is no railing and it is not very sturdy. As scary as that sounds it was incredible! If you’re debating on going to Ireland… as Shia Lebouf would say “DOOO ITTTT” it’s a fairy tale land!
